Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  How is the training offered?
A.  ExecuTrain of Idaho’s primary business is instructor-led classroom education. However, ExecuTrain also offers web-based learning via ExecuTrain Virtual Campus, targeted live remote sessions, customized private sessions, mobile classroom for your location, and mentoring.

Q.  How do I arrange training?
A.  Contact an ExecuTrain Education Manager at 208.327.0768. They can assist you in determining the most appropriate training method for your schedule and budget.

Q.  What do I need to bring to class?
A.  All course materials are included in the cost of your class. You may want to bring a jacket for your comfort. Although classroom temperatures are regulated, they may fluctuate during the day.

Q.  How big is the class?
A.  ExecuTrain of Idaho’s maximum classroom size is 18. Each student has their own state-of-the-art workstation to follow along with the projected instructor’s lesson throughout the day. This small class size promotes more personalized interaction with the instructor. 

Q.  Will I be able to practice?
A.  Each course contains self-paced lab exercises used throughout the day to build your confidence and enhance your learning while the instructor is present.

Q.  What time does class begin and end?
A.  Most ExecuTrain classes begin at 8:30 a.m. and end around 4:30 p.m. Each student registered for a class will receive a course confirmation by email for specific details.

Q.  Do I need to register in advance for a class?
A.  Seating in each class is limited. To ensure your reserved seat and materials for class, please register prior to the course date. Registrations can be sent via e-mail to Register@etidaho.com or by phone; 208.327.0768 in Boise and 208.552.2368 in Idaho Falls.

Q.  Where is ExecuTrain of Idaho located and what accommodations are close by?
A.  Boise:  ExecuTrain is located at 10051 W. Emerald, between Maple Grove and Five Mile.  We are five miles west of the Boise Towne Square Mall. 
Idaho Falls: ExecuTrain is located at 101 Park Avenue, in the Tandy and Wood Building across from the downtown Library.
 
Q.  Is ExecuTrain licensed?
A.  Yes. ExecuTrain of Idaho is licensed by The Idaho Department of Education as a proprietary school, the Idaho Real Estate Commission, and the Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses. ExecuTrain of Idaho is an Idaho Corporation. 

Q.  What are the qualifications of the instructors?
A.  Each instructor is certified by ExecuTrain’s rigorous Instructor Certification Program and facilitates using the Adult Learning Methodologies.  In addition, most of Idaho’s instructor staff is certified by Microsoft, CompTIA, CIW, and other recognized vendors. ExecuTrain’s instructor staff must maintain a minimum score of 4.8 on a scale of 1 to 5 on the student evaluations to remain active.

Q.  Can I earn Continuing Education Credits for classes?
A.  Yes! Students receive a certificate of completion at the close of class noting classroom hours. In many cases, these hours can be applied to various continuing education requirements.  If you have specific questions regarding CE Credits, please call your Education Manager; 208-327-0768. 

Q.  Can I earn college credits for class?
A.  Yes. ExecuTrain has a partnership with the University of Phoenix to offer college credits for most courses over 36 hours. Please call for details on specific courses.

Q.  Can I take my certification exam after class?
A.  Yes. ExecuTrain of Idaho is authorized to proctor exams for Prometric and VUE, Kryterion, Novell, TSA and many others. Exams can be easily scheduled through the vendor and are delivered in the Boise location; 10051 W. Emerald, Suite 120.  For additional information on testing, please contact us at 208-327-0768.
 
Q.  Does ExecuTrain honor GSA Pricing?
A.  Yes. ExecuTrain has a corporate contract for GSA Pricing.

Q.  Will ExecuTrain accept my GI-Bill and/or Tuition Assistance Funds?
A.  Yes. ExecuTrain is a registered vendor for VA participants.

Q.  Can I retake a course?
A.  Yes. ExecuTrain offers unlimited re-sit privileges for any course you have attended.  This offer expires with the release of the next course version. There is no additional fee to retake the course, simply let us know you will be attending ahead of time for the class and bring your manual with you.

Q.  What if I have questions after the class?
A.  As a benefit for attending ExecuTrain courses, you have unlimited complimentary phone/email support available. E-mail our support desk at support@etidaho.com or call 208.327.0768 in Boise and 208.552.2368 in Idaho Falls. Instructors will be in contact with you within 24 hours.

Q.  What is ExecuTrain’s cancellation and rescheduling policy?
A.  To protect the integrity of our schedule no refunds will be issued for class cancellations outside of the policies outlined for each category listed below. We reserve the right to re-schedule or cancel a class if minimum enrollment has not been met.  Class credits as a result of these policies will expire after one calendar year and cannot be redeemed as cash.  Please review your Registration Confirmation for additional details on this policy.
